1. Written Exam Batch I and II (UTG I & II)
   UTG I Regular (for High School graduates/equals) & UTG II Regular & Transfer (for D3 graduates who wish to continue their study to S1)  is a selection track through a written test offered to public. The test is implemented simultaneously (together) all over Indonesia. The registration is conducted  online. Regular selection participants included in the category best 3 (score 3 the highest for choice 1 on every study program) at UTG I, will get a scholarship of excellence, that is being freed from all costs, endowment and tuition fees, starting from their entrance date up to the graduation day (according to scholarship requirements prevailing at IM Telkom). The charity for Education Development Fund UTG I & II, a minimal of Rp.2.000.000,- (two million rupiahs)
2. Student Entrance Test Batch I & II (USM I & II)
   USM I and USM II are regular selection tracks through a written test, which is provided to further facilitate industrial cooperation (government & corporate institutions). Tests are carried out simultaneously (at the same time) throughout Indonesia. Registration is done online. The Education Development Fund (SDP2) for USM I & II is at least Rp. 15.000.000, - (fifteen million rupiah).
3. National Academic Potential Scouting Track (JPPA-N)
   JPPA-N is a regular selection track based on book report results (no written test), offered to public. The requirements to take JPPA-N: results of Mathematics and English from grade 10 (semester 1) to grade 11 (four semesters) are at least 70. Registration is done online, and applicants must send a copy of book report and non-academic achievements (if available) to the Secretariat of SMBB Telkom 2012.
4. Provincial/national/International Science Olympiad Academic Potential Scouting Track (JPPA-OSP/N/I)
   JPPA-OSN is a selection track that is offered specifically to students of grade 3 of high school/equal who, during their study, followed a Science Olympiad. Applicants can propose individually or through school, with the following conditions: 
   • Applicants who obtained either OSN gold, silver, or bronze medals at an international level, will be directly accepted as a pre-eminent scholarship grantee and are free to choose any study programs. The scholarship is in the form of exemption from all costs, including: registration fee, the Education Development Fund (SDP2), Educational Development Participation Fee (UP3), and the Tuition Fee (BPP), and the cost for Student Health Insurance (JPKM), in accordance with the prevailing terms and conditions.
   • Applicants who ever participated in the Provincial Science Olympiad (OSP) and OSN but did not get any medals: selection is conducted according to the study results on the report book (no written test) and their achievement in the OSN. Applicants have to pay the registration fee. Successful applicants will get the scholarship in the form of tuition exemption, 2 applicants per study program.
   • Documents required: Photocopy of OSP/N/I certificates, study results on book report: grade 10 (semester 1) to grade 11 (four semesters), and other achievements (if available).
5. Excellent Academic Potential Scouting Track
   JPPA-U is a selection track through a written test, which is offered to the public (all students SMA / SMK / MA) and held simultaneously (same time) throughout Indonesia. Requirements: The average scores of Math and English from grade 10 (semester 1) to grade 11 (four semesters) is least 75. Registration is done online. Photo copies of report book  that are validated by the school  are to be submitted to the committee of SMBB Telkom on the exam day. Successful applicants will be granted the  scholarship in the form of exemption from all costs, including: registration fee, the Education Development Fund (SDP2), Educational Development Participation Fee (UP3), and the tuition fee (BPP), and the cost of Student Health Insurance ( JPKM), in accordance with the prevailing terms and conditions.
